On the evening of May 12, northern Taiwan experienced a severe thunderstorm, which led to power equipment failures in multiple areas. New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Hsinchu City reported power outages, affecting nearly 8,000 households. The outage began after 7 PM and was fully restored by the early morning of May 13, thanks to the efforts of Taiwan Power Company’s repair teams.

Taiwan Power Company stated that power equipment may age and fail due to external or natural factors. With the arrival of summer, Taiwan Power Company will continue to conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before equipment failures occur. Furthermore, leveraging on years of experience, AMPOWER designs optimal power backup solutions for various building types, including high-tech factories and residential complexes.

For many years, AMPOWER has been providing customized power backup solutions for residential customers. For instance, we have developed comprehensive power backup systems for residential buildings such as Sin Jhuang Yuan in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City (a 15-story building with 108 units), and Fu Dou in Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City (a 24-story building with 330 units), ensuring the daily lives of residents are uninterrupted.

We plan the most suitable emergency generator sets and noise-reducing, carbon-reducing equipment based on the available space, environmental conditions, and power needs of the residential buildings. Utilizing the safest construction methods, we provide customized, complete power systems to ensure stable and reliable power supply during outages, so that residents are not affected by power interruptions.
