Founded in 1994, AMPOWER has evolved remarkably—a journey made possible by the outstanding dedication of our employees and never-ending support from our clients. Initially focused on diesel generators for financial institutions, AMPOWER, led by our founder Calvin Chen, capitalized on a niche market with clients including Foxconn and Uni-President. Beyond growth, he was deeply aware of the environmental impact of diesel power, prompting a decade-long pursuit of eco-friendly alternatives.
A key innovation was our dual-fuel system integrating natural gas with diesel, substantially lowering emissions. AMPOWER’s initiatives include successful biogas projects with Innolux and Dafong Farm, converting waste into energy for operations and grid sales—a practical and profitable approach to green energy.
Expanding our green initiatives, AMPOWER partnered with LCY Group to develop Taitung’s first private geothermal plant in 2020. Collaborating with Semisils, we introduced Tainan’s first hydrogen power system, transforming industrial by-products into valuable energy sources.
Internally, AMPOWER drives change with carbon reduction measures like energy-efficient lighting and eco-friendly vehicles, as well as setting strict carbon standards for suppliers. With ambitious goals to halve emissions by 2030 and increase green power sales, AMPOWER is poised for transformation.
Supported by our unwavering commitment and community, AMPOWER leads the shift away from diesel generators, envisioning a future as a cornerstone in mobile power supply. We continue to pave the way towards a cleaner, greener future, setting new benchmarks in renewable energy.
